Although I spending many many hours consuming media, certain things take precedence. Every Sunday night at 9 pm exactly I begin to prepare myself for the gore marathon for the next hour. Fierce conflict between groups wages while also battling the undead, this is of course The Walking Dead. Yet in other seasons of the year, typically November, regardless of the weather I know winter is coming. Starks and Lannisters clash, blood weddings and public executions are constant. Game of Thrones dominates my attention while the undead prepare their assault (coming back in February). A long time love, and distraction throughout my childhood and even now has been thoughts of space battles, peace keepers fighting off dark lords, pirates and smugglers braving the Kessel run, and the political debates of Republic verses the Confederacy. At an early age Star Wars has capture my attention exploring concepts of far off world inhabited by strange creatures caught in a long campaign between the Republic and its Jedi against the separatists/ confederacy and their secret backing from the Sith. My deep love for movies and tv shows is a kryptonite that has held my attention hostage for years, enticing me with new and old media.
