Twitter Stories

The story I will be blogging about is Victoria Crawford's. The short version of the story is basically that her grandmother was sick of kids making fun of her brother so she out smarted one of the kids and convinced him to eat rabbit poop thinking it was a pill to make him smarter (clearly he needed it). I enjoyed this story for its comedic value as well as it being kinda heartwarming. Her grandmother stood up for her brother because nobody messes with your siblings except for you! I relate to this because I have two sisters, we joke around and make fun of each other but nobody is allowed to bully or say anything negative to or about them, I don't stand for it. I also thought this was a good twitter story because it used a gif which showed exactly how the reader (and probably the writer) felt at that point in the story. Plus it was very different from the story I wrote. Its nonfiction and its meant to make the reader laugh, while mine was a nonfiction drama about a bank robbery. I feel as though a writer or even consumer of media, having an appreciation for different types only enhances your perspective and may lead you to things you didn't think you'd like before checking it out.
